Combo Prizewinner Published
New from Biscuit Publishing, Child's Eye is Anita John's debut collection of short fiction and poetry. Publication is her prize for winning the Biscuit International Combo Competition 2012. Anita and the other winners of this competition did something new: they have impressed the judges with both a short story and a flash fiction, submitted as a 'combo'. Child's Eye was launched at a lively and crowded event at the Scottish Poetry Library.
Child's Eye explores the themes of love and loss told through the eyes of children and family, and includes Making Mince Pies and Aunt Betty Talking, Anita's winning competition entries.
Anita's winning Combo also features - alongside those of all the winners and runners-up - in the Biscuit Prizewinners 2012, ten winning writers, twenty stories available now!
