Challenge
Poetry Competition, 2005
The
Digital Lounge in the Tyneside Cinema was the venue for "Challenges . . .
for the Kids" on Thursday, 7th July, when over 40 people gathered to listen
to the poetry selected for the anthology. Nine poets read their own work while
other poems were read by guest readers.

Margaret
Cowen, of the Brainwave Appeal, gives her thanks for the cheque for £1,500
raised by the Challenge Competition.
Margaret
is the founder and organiser of the Northern Brainwave Appeal and to date has
raised over £1 million towards medical equipment. |
