Challenge Poetry Competition, 2005

The Digital Lounge in the Tyneside Cinema was the venue for "Challenges . . . for the Kids" on Thursday, 7th July, when over 40 people gathered to listen to the poetry selected for the anthology. Nine poets read their own work while other poems were read by guest readers.

Margaret Cowen, of the Brainwave Appeal, gives her thanks for the cheque for £1,500 raised by the Challenge Competition.

Margaret is the founder and organiser of the Northern Brainwave Appeal and to date has raised over £1 million towards medical equipment.
