Peter Bromley lives in North Northumberland and has been writing short stories for about four years. What started as an antedote to work rapidly became an obsession after winning a New Writing North Award early in his career. His short stories have been published in a number of places including Stand, Chapman, Route and a couple of places in previous Biscuit awards. “Winning first prize however is a great boost and will now encourage me to put together a collection and seek publication.”
